Having two dogs means that on the weekends we need to take them for a walk. Either that or we dont have a house left standing – you can ask our “less than a month old” rug about that. I am not complaining, we do enjoy the walks very much as it gets us out the house and also takes us around the great area we live in. There are many commons and National Trust properties on our door step.
For the last few weeks our new favourite place has been the Temple of the Winds which sits on the Black Downs. It is normally followed by a trip to the Hollist Arms in Lodsworth – they make the best steak ciabatta rolls and triple cooked chips!
Today though we decided to go to the Witley Common, a place we have not been to in over three years. It had not changed much in that time and it was as good a walk as we could remember. The bonus being that they still had their resident hairy coo’s which unfortunately did not venture too close to us.
Below are some images from our walks which I hope you enjoy.
